Meet Dr. Blaze

Every collector remembers their first holo. Mine came from a Base Set pack in 1999 — back when a Game Boy lived in my coat pocket and Red & Blue owned the whole summer. The games taught me to catch them all. The cards let me keep the adventure going long after the batteries died.

Twenty-five years and five console generations later, I'm still chasing that feeling. This shop is my way of giving it back to the community — just the cards, the chase, and zero doubt.

I Grew Up on Every Generation

From Red, Blue, and Yellow on the original Game Boy to Gold, Silver, and Crystal on Color. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and FireRed on the Advance. The DS era — Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, and the game-changing Black & White. Different cartridges, same obsession. My binder grew up right alongside those save files.

The Day Job

By profession, I'm an anesthesiology resident. The job demands obsessive attention to detail: verify the vial, trace the line, check it twice. "Probably fine" is never acceptable when someone's life is on the line.

That same rigor is what I bring to every card and pack in this shop. I learned the instinct to protect people long before medicine — my father was a fire captain, and I grew up around first responders. Service is in my blood. This shop is an extension of that: do right by people, never cut corners, and earn the trust.

But verification goes both ways. Every single pack and product is thoroughly inspected against a detailed tampering checklist (seals, crimps, wrap seams, tabs, and more) before it hits the wall.
