Shipping policy

Shipping, plainly.

Every order ships from Long Island, NY within 24 hours of payment clearing (weekends and holidays: next business day). Everything leaves here boxed, padded, and tracked — sealed product is packed the way I'd want my own collection shipped. Unweighed. Unscanned. Tamper-checked.

You choose your shipping

Live UPS rates are shown at checkout, priced from your address and the actual weight of your box. You pick the speed, and the rate you see is UPS’s real rate. Free shipping is a top-tier Team Blaze perk: Inferno ships free over $150, Blast Burn over $200, and Fire Blast over $250 — UPS Ground comes off your total automatically at checkout, up to $35 of the Ground rate. Faster services stay available at their live rate and are paid in full by you. Membership fees never carry a shipping charge, ever.

Signature is required above $200 — and I pay for it

Whatever service you choose at checkout, I add a signature requirement to the label myself, at my own expense, once your order reaches these amounts:

  • $200 or moreSignature Confirmation. Someone at the delivery address has to sign for the box.
  • $500 or moreAdult Signature Required. Someone 21 or older has to sign and show government-issued photo ID.

This is not optional, and it cannot be waived — including by delivery instructions you leave with the carrier directly. It is the single most effective thing either of us can do to keep a sealed box that is worth real money out of a bush. So plan for it: be home, ship to a workplace, or use a carrier hold location. If nobody signs, the carrier will attempt redelivery or hold the parcel for pickup.

Orders of $500 or more also travel with carrier declared-value protection to the full order amount, purchased by me.

On orders of $500 or more where the shipping address doesn't match the billing address on the card, I may email you to confirm before the box goes out. It costs you one reply and it stops a bad day for both of us.

What your carrier already includes

So you can decide with the whole picture in front of you: UPS labels include $100 of built-in carrier protection. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, I pursue the carrier for that built-in amount myself and pass it through to you in full — you never deal with them, and you are never charged for me doing it.

If something goes wrong

Damaged in transit, or I shipped the wrong item? Send me photos within 48 hours of delivery and I make it right — replacement, repack, or refund, at no cost to you, with or without Package Protection. That is the Dr. Blaze Guarantee and it doesn't have an asterisk.

Tracking says delivered but the box isn’t there, or tracking has stalled? Tell me within 7 days of the delivery scan (or of the last tracking movement) and I will open a carrier trace and stay on it until it is answered. What I can guarantee you is the carrier’s built-in amount, passed through in full — anything past that I’ll look at case by case, but I’m not going to promise you here what I can’t put my name to every time. If you added Package Protection at checkout, its terms govern instead of this paragraph; it is not insurance and is not underwritten by anyone.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier, which is standard and is why the two paragraphs above exist.

Address accuracy

Please check your shipping address before you submit. Once a label is printed I can't change the destination, and a package sent to a wrong address you supplied isn't something Package Protection covers.

Where I ship

Currently the United States. International friends: reach out — as the shop grows I want to get there.

Local pickup

Local to Long Island? Pickup is available by request — reach out after ordering and we'll arrange a time and refund your shipping. Signature requirements and Package Protection don't apply to pickups; you're taking it from my hands.
